Process (thought) is the way that an idea changes over time, physical and virtual. It can be as linear as you allow it to. It can also be revolutionary and evolutionary as you challenge and reform it. It involves research which should be involved, intimate, and extensive but unnecessarily comprehensive or absolute . This includes experimentation (in materials, mode, thinking)—–> conception-extraction of subconscious ideas (grasping for concepts, personal and universal) and rigorous analysis/reconsideration/reformation of those ideas. These can and should be influenced and informed by personal experience(s), past education, discoveries from research. Good process has steps or iterations where changes or evolution in thought occur (either new or layered). These changes should be discovered. This means that you can not be thinking about an end result during your process, otherwise it does not involve discovery and it is not really a creative process. A creative process represents a desire to better understand and communicate your ideas in new and challenging ways.
